Nearly Perfect Day

i had a nearly perfect day, last Thursday.

i couldn't go into work, so I had an immediate free day.

so i dressed up pretty.

josh found a lovely green frock for me, and today was the day for it.

i wore heels.

and went to two auditions.

and then i went for lunch.

quietly.

happily.

all by myself and my sweet thoughts.

i went afterwards to Ten Thousand Villages, and spent nearly 2.5 hours helping out and talking to people with exciting, happening lives, and wonderful tales to regale.

i love when other's lives are inspiring.

the day turned sour after that. but it was nearly perfect, and for that, i am grateful. <3
